On Sunday 8th July 2012 a car was stolen from a home in Brownsover.  The occupant was inside when someone entered the home and removed their car keys.  The car was driven away at speed from the area.  There were then sightings of the car being driven at speed around the area of Little Lawford.  As the incident was being reported Police were also made aware of a serious car crash on Little Lawford Lane.

Information from the crime scene, scene of the accident and witnesses have since led Police to arrest a 20yr old local male after he had recieved hospital treatment for serious leg injuries.  The male has been arrested on suspicion of Burglary and bailed for further investigation.
