Summer Snax ‘n’ Sports in Rugby
Summer Snax ‘n’ Sports in Rugby
Children aged 8-13 in Rugby will be able to indulge in free snacks and exciting sport and creative activities including football and crafts this summer.
‘Positive about Young People’ will be running their popular Snax ‘n’ Sports programme all over Warwickshire in July and August.
The programme, which is a partnership between Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Police, is free of charge and has been organised to give young people something fun and innovative to do during the holidays. It also gives young people a chance to feel part of their communities.
All sessions will run between 23 July and 31 August from 12pm – 3pm, with refreshments provided. The programme is run on a drop-in basis.
Mark Bolton, of Positive about Young People at Warwickshire County Council said: “It’s a fantastic way to persuade young people to take part in these activities, it gives them something fresh and exciting to do over the holidays before they go back to school, and it’s free!”
The Rugby programme will take place at:
- Crowthorns, Brownsover on the 26 July and 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 August.
- Craven Road, Millennium Green on the 23, 25, 30 July and 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 29 August.
