We would like to make you aware at just after 6am this morning, 27 August, two offenders, wearing balaclavas used a sledgehammer to smash a glass panel in the door of a Grocers shop in Tomkinson Road, Nuneaton.

Once inside the shop they stole a quantity of cigarettes.

If you noticed anything suspicious in the area of Tomkinson Road at around this time or have any other information relating to this incident please contact Nuneaton Police quoting incident number 75 of 27 August.

Please also remain alert, on the lookout dor suspicious activity on or around your own or neighbouring premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
