NHW NB Incidents in Acacia Road, Thorntons Way, Culpepper Close & Ansley Road, Nuneaton

Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at homes in your area over recent days.

Incident 110 of 29 February
Between 10.20 and 10.50am on 29 February offenders entered a home in Acacia Road, Nuneaton through an insecure side door whilst the resident was upstairs. Once inside the house the offenders stole a handbag, a laptop computer and a camera.

Incident 98 of 29 February
Between 10.15am and 12.30pm on 29 February a male offender knocked on the door of a home in Thorntons Way, Nuneaton. The resident of the house ignored the knock as she did not know the caller. The male then went around the back of the property and attempted to force open the rear door with a screwdriver.

The resident shouted at the offender who quickly made off.

Incident 37 of 1 March
During the night of 29 February into 1 March offenders entered a secure shed in the garden of a home in Culpepper Close, Nuneaton and stole a bicycle and other items.

Incident 281 of 11 March
At 6pm yesterday evening, 11 March, two male offenders were seen as they attempted to force open a window at a home in Ansley Road, Nuneaton. The offenders managed to get into the house which activated the intruder alarm and alerted a neighbour. The offenders carried out an untidy search but it not clear if anything was stolen.
