Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred in your area over recent days.

Incident 167 of 30 October
At just after 11am on 30 October a male offenders smashed a pane of glass in the cabin door of a canal barge moored near to Bridge Street, Coton.

Once inside, the offenders stole a mobile phone, a fishing reel and a green canvas bag before making off on a pedal cycle.

Incident 76 of 28 October
At some point during the night of 27 into 28 October offenders climbed a wall into the garden of a home in Edward Street, Nuneaton and stole a silver Lightening 16 geared mens mountain bike.

If you have information that you believe may be connected to either of these incidents please contact Police on 101 (new non emergency number).

Please also be aware that there has been an increase in the number of bicycles stolen from the Nuneaton & Bedworth over recent days. Please make every effort to remove your bicycle from sight and to lock and secure it when not in use. Please also remove evidence of bicycles, eg bike racks, from your vehicle when they are not in use. Thankyou.
