On Friday 6th January 2012, the Nuneaton Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a warrant in Orchard Way, Nuneaton. As a result of this work, two people were arrested for possession of illegal drugs, one of whom received a caution. A quantity of cannabis and equipment was also seized.

Nuneaton North Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Paul Smith, commented:

"This is the fifth successful warrant executed by the Nuneaton SNT Teams in the past six weeks and demonstrates our commitment to acting on the information we receive about those people who choose to engage with illicit drugs."


Warwickshire Police will continue to act upon information received and deter those individuals who cause harm to our communities.
