Off Duty Police Officer Detains Burglars, Nuneaton

An off duty Warwickshire Police Officer caught two suspected burglars as they left a house in Eastfield Road, Nuneaton .
The officer was alerted to the burglary after he and another witness saw the front door panel of the house had been kicked in on WEdnesday 28 July at 1.30pm.
Realising the property was unoccupied at the time the off duty officer went to the rear of the building and caught two males leaving the house.
The off duty officer kept hold of the two males until on duty colleagues arrived.
The two males, both aged 16 years, were arrested and questioned in connection with the burglary. They have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
