On Thursday 8th March 2012 at about 0840 hrs on a bridge over the A444 heading into Coventry from the direction of Nuneaton a number of youths were seen on the overbridge. One of them has dropped a stone onto a passing car causing the windscreen to crack.

This is an act of criminal damage possibly with the intent to endangering life and is a very serious matter as it could have resulted in a car crash taking place where someone is seriously injured or even killed.

I would urge those involved to think carefully about how this one act could have such serious consequences for a victim, the victims family and for themselves
