Police Crack Down on Hams Hall Car Cruisers!
On Sunday 28th June 2009, a joint operation between the North Warwickshire Safer Neighbourhoods Team and Operations Task Force took place at Hams Hall Industrial Estate in relation to the ongoing problem of illegal "Car Cruisers" and "Street Racers". The results of the successful operation are as follows

9 x Non endorsable fixed penalty notices issued
5 x Police Cautions given
6 x Section 59 notices issued
3 x offenders were reported for road racing/careless driving
2 x Vehicle Defect Rectification Scheme tickets issued
2 x Defective number plates reported
1 x Drugs Detection
On the evening, officers involved in the operation were thanked by a number of local residents from the neighbouring villages of Curdworth and Lea Marston.
