With the approaching Summer holidays and the inevitability of children playing out doors, Coleshill PCSOs, PCSO 6129 Caroline MCMURCHIE and PCSO 6167 Tim STATEN attended Curdworth Primary School on Wednesday 17 June 2009 and gave a Safety and Self Awareness talk to the class 1 and 2 children.

The PCSOs spoke to the children about the importance of the Green Cross Code , wearing bright colours at night to Be Safe and Be Seen and the importance of Bike Safety. They finally delivered a very important message to the children about the importance of being vigilant about strangers and adults that they don't know.

All of the children were given young user's guides to the highway code, road safety activity booklets and posters, literature on bike safety and reflective stickers and key rings to take home with them.
