We would like to make you aware of the following incidents which have occurred in your area over recent days.

Between 10.50 and 11.20pm on Monday evening, 22 June 2 white males wearing balaclavas and carrying batons forced their way into a cottage home in Quarry Lane, Mancetter.

The offenders pushed the female occupant of the house over and then struck the male occupant with a baton and forced hom to the floor.

One offender then forced the female to take him to the safe where he stole a quantoty of cash and cheques.

The offenders then tied up the occupant and made off in their vehicle.

At 2.30pm also on Monday, the resident of a home in Oldbury Road, Hartshill disturbed a male offenders climbing through a kitchen window to steal a handbag and car keys.

The offender then made off on a BMX pushbike.
