Please can we make you aware of two burglaries which have occurred in your area over recent days.

Between 8am and 12.45pm on 18 January an offender smashed a window next to the front door at a home in Merevale Lane, Atherstone and then climbed through and into the house.

Once inside, the offenders made an untidy search of the premises before stealing items of jewellery.

Between 9am and 6.15pm on 20 January an offender entered a bedroom at a home in St Nicholas Estate, Baddesley Ensor via a ladder.

Once inside, the offender smeared blood over a computer in the living room, drew a pentogram on the screen and left abusive notes.
