NHW NW Three arrested following tip off regarding a suspicious vehicles in Wood End

Please be aware that at just after 11pm on Sunday evening, 18 March a witness reported that a suspicious vehicle was parked near to Whateley Villas in Wood End and that three males were walking towards the factories.

Police attended the scene and three males were located near to the railway line. Their vehicle, a red Ford Transit van was searched and found to contain scrap metal. The three males were arrested on suspicion of metal theft.

Please remain alert, and on the lookout for suspicious persons or activity around your homes or your area. Police are keen to hear from you if you consider something to be unusual or of concern as they need your help to catch these thieves.
