NHW NW Burglaries at home in North Street and Witherley Road, Atherstone INC 245 of 12 January
Please can we make you aware of the following burglaries which have occurred in Atherstone over recent days.
At some point between 11am and midnight on 11 January offenders kicked the panels out of a door at a home in North Street, Atherstone and entered the premises. The offenders then stole cash from a childs bedroom.
Between 12.05 and 2pm on 11 January offenders used a brick to smash a large double glazed window at a home in Witherley Road, Atherstone. The offenders then entered the house and stole a laptop computer. It is believed that the offenders may have been disturbed by the return of the residents of the house.
Between 10am and 5pm yesterday, 12 January, offenders forced their way into the rear garden of a home in North Street, Atherstone and then forced open the rear ground floor French windows.
Once inside the house the offenders stole two televisions, a laptop computer and a camera.
Between 12.50 and 5.20pm, also yesterday offenders entered another neighbouring home in North Street, again via the rear French doors and stole 2 flat screen televisions, 2 laptop computer, 3 digital cameras, 2 mobile phones and a quantity of cigarettes.
If you have information that you believe may be connected to any of these burglaries please contact Atherstone Police quoting incident number 245 of 12 January.
Thieves are obviously at work in your area so please remain alert, actively on the lookout for suspicious or unusual vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
