NHW NW Incidents in Merevale View, Lister Road & Bank Road, Atherstone and Willow Close & Oldbury Road, Hartshill

Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at homes in Atherstone and Hartshill over recent days.

Incident 182 of 25 May
At some point before 2.30pm on 25 May offenders attempted to force open the rear door of a home in Merevale View, Atherstone. The offenders damaged the lock but failed to get into the house and nothing was stolen.

Incident 44 of 28 May
During the night of 27 inyo 28 May offenders forced the lock off a brick coal house at a home in Lister Road, Atherstone and entered the building to steal a rod bag containing 6 fishing rods, 6 reels, 2 landing nets and an umbrella.

Incident 12 of 5 June
During the night of 4 into 5 June offenders forced open the ground floor kitchen window of a home in Bank Road, Atherstone. Nothing appears to have been stolen but foam filling was found all over the kitchen.

Incident 370 of 2 June
Between 7 and 8.10pm on 2 June a young white male offender called at the home of an elderly person in Willow Close, Hartshill and was allowed into the house. Once inside, the offenders search the property and made off with a quantity of cash.

Incident 196 of 3 June
During the night of 1 into 2 June offenders attempted to enter a home in Oldbury Road, Hartshill by forcing open the rear patio door. The offenders caused damage to the lock but are believed to have been scared off by the family dog.
