NHW NW Incidents at homes in Warton, Birchmoor, Baxterley and St Leonards View & Station Road, Polesworth

Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at homes in your area over recent days.

Incident 50 of 30 March
At just after 7.30am on 30 March an offenders walked into a convenience store in Maypole Road, Warton armed with a meat cleaver and demanded money. A few seconds later the offender ran out of the front door and possibly into a grey getaway car. Nothing was stolen and noone was injured in the incident.

The offenders is described as a white male around 6ft 2in tall. He was wearing a black hoody, black trousers and spoke with a Birmingham accent. The vehicle is believed to be a grey hatchback type.

Incident 346 of 30 March
At just after 9pm on 30 March the resident of a home in Birchmoor Road, Birchmoor was woken by the sound of banging and went downstairs to investigate. The rear door of the house was found to be damaged but the offender failed to get into the property and nothing was stolen.

Incident 118 of 1 April
At just before 4am on 1 April the resident of a home in St Leonards View, Polesworth was woken by the sound of dogs barking. An offendere had opened a rear gate and moved a garden chair before reaching through a small window to open a larger one.

The offender is believed to have been disturbed as nothing was stolen.

Incident 234 of 3 April
Between 8am and 5pm on 3 April offenders forced their way through a double glazed kitchen window at a home in Baxterley and entered the house to steal two laptop computers.

Incident 26 of 3 April
Between midnight and 6am yesterday morning, 3 April, offenders entered a home in Station Road, Polesworth via a rear door and stole the keys to a VW Touran vehicle. The vehicle was stopped in Nuneaton and two offenders were arrested.
