Please be aware that at just after 5pm yesterday afternoon, 30 June, an offender was seen carrying various items in the area of Watling Street, Atherstone and then made off from Police.

He was subsequently caught and was arrested when some of the items were discovered to have come from a burglary at a home in Watling Street.

Please remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
