PS Fildes joined Warwickshire Police in 1987 and served the first 4 years at Nuneaton before moving to reactive duties at Atherstone in 1991. On promotion to Sgt in 2000, Roger was posted to Bedworth as a reactive Sgt before moving back to Atherstone in 2001. Now responsible for all 4 SNTs in North Warwickshire, Roger is committed to promoting partnership working to deal with locally identified issues.

Sarah covers the Atherstone town beats. Sarah has previously worked in admin and in a garden centre. She became a PCSO because she wanted a job that she could make a difference in the community.

Matt is from an engineering customer focussed background. He is a new member of the team and has made a great start in developing his experience and knowledge as a police officer. He has been actively involved in policing Atherstone town centre and has brought much of his own experience to this role. Matt has placed significant emphasis on ensuring all our community target priorities are met.

Alicia joined Warwickshire Police as a Special Police Constable at 18 years old and has worked for Atherstone Police since joining. Alicia says she joined as a volunteer because she wanted to put something back into the community and get an insight into the profession that she hopes to join as a full time officer in the near future.

PC 382 Leon Carter joined Warwickshire Police in 2000. He has worked in a variety of reactive and SNT roles in Atherstone, Warwick, Leamington-Spa, Southam and Coleshill as well as gaining experience in Prisoner Processing and Vehicle Autocrime Units.

Tim joined West Midlands Police as a Special Constable 17 years ago and in that time has gained much experience in dealing with neighbourhood problems. Tim has now transferred to Warwickshire Police and is a welcome addition to the East team.

Liz is the PCSO currently covering the Atherstone Town Centre beat. She worked at Warwickshire Justice Centre for three years as an Enquiry Officer before taking up the post of PCSO in 2008. Liz previously worked for four years in Nuneaton in the Grove Farm/Stockingford area. She is CACDP/Signature Level 2 qualified in British Sign Language

Prior to becoming a PCSO Dan worked at the North Warwickshire Golf Club as a greenkeeper. After he has gained some experience in the PCSO role he hopes to move onto the Police force as an officer.

'I am the newest member of the team and I am really enjoying the challenge so far. I currently work as a deputy manager for a leading retailer. I wanted to become a Special Constable because I enjoy interacting with members of the public and I hope to give something back to the community. I hope to become a regular officer in the future.'

Ashley joined the Atherstone Safer Neighbourhood Team in August 2009. He covers the Mancetter beat area. Before becoming a Police Community Support Officer he worked in Somerfield as a Trading Manager. Ashley would like to join the regular police force after gaining some experience in this role.

Diana joined Atherstone in June 2011 she is a new member of the team and is very keen ,enjoys working as many hours as she possibly can. Diana works in a pharmacy and has brought alot of useful knowledge to the force.She has joined as a volunteer to gain as much experience as possible with this,hoping to join full time in the near future. Diana has very good communication skills ,is easy to talk to and is a very good listener.

Police Community Support Officer Claire Murray joined Warwickshire Police in April 2010. Claire Murray previously worked with the Wellesbourne and Southam Safer Neighbourhood Teams. After leaving University in 2009 with a BA hons in Graphic Design Claire decided to join Warwickshire Police as she had always wanted to be in the Police and was a cadet with West Midlands Police. She became a Safer School PCSO in September 2012 and is looking forward to getting out into the Schools of North Warwickshire and Nuneaton and making connections with the younger generations of the Communities in which the Safer Neighbourhood teams work and trying to make a difference in young persons lives.
