Acting Chief Inspector based at Atherstone Police Station

PS Fildes joined Warwickshire Police in 1987 and served the first 4 years at Nuneaton before moving to reactive duties at Atherstone in 1991. On promotion to Sgt in 2000, Roger was posted to Bedworth as a reactive Sgt before moving back to Atherstone in 2001. Now responsible for the East and North SNT in North Warwickshire, Roger is committed to promoting partnership working to deal with locally identified issues.

PC Smith has worked for Warwickshire Police for the past 8 years, working 3 years reactive at Nuneaton and 3 years as the local officer for the Camp Hill, Grove Farm and Stockingford areas. He is now a member of the SNT team covering the Mancetter area, for which he has been doing for the past 2 years.

Prior to becoming a PCSO Dan worked at the North Warwickshire Golf Club as a greenkeeper. After he has gained some experience in the PCSO role he hopes to move onto the Police force as an officer.

Sarah is the newest member of the team and is covering the Atherstone town beats. Sarah has previously worked in admin and in a garden centre. She became a PCSO because she wanted a job that she could make a difference in the community.

Kevin joined Warwickshire Police as a PCSO in October 2006 after working in IT at HSBC for over 20 years. He spent two years working at Bedworth Police Station where he was responsible for Exhall, Ash Green and Kerseley. he built up a very trusting and close relationship with the community, particularly in Kerseley. He is now a Safer Schools Officer working at Hartshill School, where he work's closely with the Year Heads on such issues as attendance and discipline. He also takes part in Physical Social Health and Educational (PSHE) lessons on such issues as Citizenship, Internet Safety and Alcohol Awareness. He has paid regular visits to Michael Drayton Junior School and gets involved with all sorts of talks aimed at keeping the young people safe.

Lucy joined Warwickshire Police in November 2009 and has always been in customer facing roles. Lucy was a flight attendent for three years before joining HSBC whilst waiting to join Warwickshire Police. She is looking forward to meeting the public and gaining valuable experience. Lucy will be working alongside PCSO 6198 Sarah Mander covering the Atherstone Town Centre beat.

Ashley joined the Atherstone Safer Neighbourhood Team in August 2009. He covers the Mancetter beat area. Before becoming a Police Community Support Officer he worked in Somerfield as a Trading Manager. Ashley would like to join the regular police force after gaining some experience in this role.

PC Cox joined Warwickshire Police in 1989, he has worked 3 years at Bedworth and the past 15 years at Atherstone.

PC John Finney has been a Community Beat Officer for Atherstone for the last two and a half years. Since taking up this position, nuisance youth incidents have fallen. Working in partnership with other agencies PC Finney has reduced the number of incidents of nuisance motorcycles in several areas.

22 year old Alicia joined Warwickshire Police as a Special Police Constable at 18 years old and has worked for Atherstone Police since joining. Alicia says she joined as a volunteer because she wanted to put something back into the community and get an insight into the profession that she hopes to join as a full time officer in the near future.
