Police Appeal For Witnesses To Serious Traffic Collision in Pailton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision between Pailton and Stretton on the B4125 at shortly before 10.45pm on Thursday 31 May.
Two cars, a silver Vauxhall Zafira MPV and a silver Peugeot 106 were travelling in opposite directions when the collision took place.
The driver of the Peugeot 106, a 19 year old male, had to be released from the car by the fire service. He was taken to the University Hospital, Coventry and Warwickshire where he is receiving treatment for multiple injuries in the critical care unit.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the manner the vehicles were being driven in prior to the collision taking place. The silver Peugeot 106 was being driven from Pailton village in the direction of Stretton and the Vauxhall Zafiera was heading in the opposite direction.
