Fewer Crimes, More Visible Results in Stratford District
With more crimes solved and fewer crimes committed, we’re working with partners and local communities to make life better for the people of Warwickshire.
For example, last year there were 319 fewer incidents of anti-social behaviour in Stratford District.*
Other achievements in Stratford District (2009/10) include:
*April 2009 to March 2010 compared to April 2008 to March 2009.
Stratford District Commander, Ian Whiting said: “Whilst encouraged by these results, police in Stratford will continue to work with local partners and communities to reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour, serious violence, home burglaries, vehicle crime and criminal damage.
“We understand the importance of making those who live, work and visit Stratford District feel safer, improving their trust and confidence in local police via positive communications, at the same time as protecting them from harm.”
One of the ways we communicate at a local level is through our Safer Neighbourhoods Teams, which operate in every neighbourhood across Stratford District.
SNTs tackle crime such as graffiti, anti-social behaviour and other local issues that impact upon the quality of people’s lives.
Significant improvements are also visible in your local area. Please visit your local teams pages on this website to read more about what your team are doing.
