What are the benefits of Safer Neighbourhood teams?
- Communities will have dedicated safer neighbourhood teams, supported by staff from partner agencies, that are visible, accessible and known to local people.
- Our officers will be better placed to identify and resolve local issues. They will work closely with you to deal with your specific concerns and problems, balancing community needs with policing priorities.
- There will be better two-way communication between ourselves and the community and it will encourage further partnership working.
- It will help reduce fear of crime and increase public confidence.
